Cultural Vision Grant

Cultural Vision Grant

Program from individuals, non-profits, and community groups. The program aims to support community programming in Mecklenburg County, particularly projects focused on history, science, and technology. ASC provides resources to help applicants submit competitive proposals, which are reviewed by a diverse panel. The panel selects the applications to be funded, and ASC staff offers feedback on all applications. The Cultural Vision Grant program aligns with the community's interest in arts, science, history, and heritage programming. It supports projects that build community, increase relevance by addressing complex issues through arts, science, and history, and foster innovation by supporting the creation of new work. Successful applicants will demonstrate a commitment to quality, clear intention towards at least one of the program's objectives, and a capacity for success. ASC offers grants up to $20,000 and requires grantees to provide matching funds towards the project expenses.
